Selvarajitham - A Unique lifestyle.
The concept of spiritual consciousness suggests a belief in a shared, interconnected awareness that transcends individual experiences. It implies that all beings are part of பூரணம் (Pooranam)—a collective consciousness or divine energy—fostering unity and oneness across all existence. This heightened awareness is not bound by caste, creed, race, culture, or religion, emphasizing the universal interconnectedness of spiritual understanding. Universal spiritualism is the pathway of nature, by nature, and for nature, ultimately leading to the realization of becoming one with the vast essence of nature itself.
Consciousness helps bring us together. The unique way of life (பிரிது யாரும் சொல்லாத), which is the essence of SCRF’s teachings, guides one toward unification with Divine consciousness. This state of unique consciousness — "சித்த மனோசக்தி" [ meaning : சித்தா அறிவார்ந்த சிந்தனைச் செம்மை – the greatest intellectual power of a person ] —is a well-derived pure consciousness. It is achieved through various techniques rooted in the ancient Siddha tradition.

The structural breathing techniques are designed to integrate the body, mind, and
spirit. The related theory, which emphasizes unifying the body, mind, and cosmos
through breathing, is embedded throughout our program. The primary goal is to
synchronize the body and mind with the universe using a structured technique called
“வாத வித்தை” (Vadha Viddhai) in Tamil.“Vadha” refers to the second respiration,
which
is associated with neurotransmission, hemoglobin levels, and pulse rate in
cardiovascular system of our body (வர்மநாடி) varma-Life points in the left, right
and central meridians of the body. Through this structured breathing technique, one
can attain a long, disease-free, and worry-free life, ultimately paving the way for
enrichment of avoiding perishable life.
Present human consciousness is based on the acceptance of death. But is there a way
to achieve deathlessness?
According to Siddha teachings, the body can be transmuted into a light form. Chith
energy, which is responsible for creation, operates through light, sound, and
primordial powers, alongside the mind, intellect, and ego—all of which are
manifestations of Chith energy. The human body is composed of the primitive powers
found in plants and animals. In contrast, the angelic form of human beings is filled
with enzymes and energies known as Chith energy. The term "சித்து இயல்" in Tamil
refers to Chith, meaning the movemental force of static, kinetic, and dynamic
energies in all beings. Alchemy offers a path to eliminate all miseries and human
suffering. Through dedicated practice, anyone can undergo transmutation into a light
form, a sound form, or any other desired state by following the SELVARAJITHAM of
Mu.Ma.Se—a unique way of life.

Who is this Mu.Ma.Se?
Sathguru Muthukothala Mariappa Selvaraj, affectionately known as Mahasiddha MuMaSe, was born in the village of M. Puliyangulam near Virudhunagar, Madurai district, Tamil Nadu, India, in 1942. He earned a B.A. in History and Administration from Punjab University in 1982, a Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Law and Personnel Management from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in 1983, and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering as a technical qualification from the Indian Air Force. He served in the Indian Air Force for 21 years, from 1962 to 1983.
Since childhood, he has been deeply passionate about the quest for God and the exploration of the Tamil language, particularly Siddhar literature, along with Vedic knowledge and cultural values. In his youth, he formally studied multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Grantha, and Tamil Brahmi. He also mastered Attanga Yogam, Sarasathiram, Varmanadi Oothumurai (வர்மநாடி ஊதுமுறை), Kalari, the significance of Siddha herbal medicine, nature cure, and various spiritual techniques under the guidance of his father, Mr. Ko.Mu.Mariappa Parumaganar, a renowned Kalari master and natural healer. Additionally, he received spiritual guidance from Sundara pandiyam Swamigal, a saint who resided in Sundara pandiyam, a spiritual abode near the sacred Sathuragiri Mountain.
After years of continuous practice and study of the 18 Siddha schools of thought and
sacred texts in Tamil, Sanskrit, Hindi, and English, he became highly skilled in
various spiritual techniques aimed at protecting the body, mind, and spirit while
upholding human values.
Following his retirement from the Indian Air Force, he dedicated himself full-time
to researching the cosmological relationship between the human body and Siddha
Consciousness—specifically, Siddha Mind Energy. This research led him to develop a
structured breathing technique called "Oothumurai" (ஊதுமுறை), a unique practice that
enhances overall human fitness in all situations and conditions, promoting both care
and cure for various human difficulties.
Based on the cosmology of Tamil Siddha, Oothumurai involves the natural ventilation of the
body and harnesses the differential directional forces of the Ten ThisaSakthis (cosmic
energies). These ten directional forces are directly perceived by the body, stimulating
cells and enhancing immune capacity. The technique also serves as a form of natural
medicine, aiding in the production of local hormones through the interaction between cells
and cosmic energy, thereby providing relief from chronic diseases.
For over four decades, he has successfully taught his Siddhathma Yoga techniques, known as
Selvarajitham, to people worldwide. His followers span many countries. He has authored over
a hundred books on the Siddha Way of Life, ten of which have been published. Notably, two of
his books were published by the University of Malaya, for which he is deeply grateful.
We express our gratitude to the respected Prof. Rajenderan, former Head of the Tamil
Department at the University of Malaysia, and our beloved Dr. Chilali.
Mahasiddha Mu.Ma.Se has delivered lectures and demonstrated Siddha Consciousness-oriented
spiritual techniques at various prestigious colleges and universities in Tamil Nadu, India,
and Malaysia. Through his foundation, he regularly organizes Sathsang—equanimity sessions
held on Sundays—focused on the teachings of Siddha Consciousness, which emphasize the
understanding of All-Pervading Divine Consciousness at the SCRF – Siddha Consciousness
research foundation in Chennai, India.
THE SIDDHA CONSCIOUSNESS RESEARCH FOUNDATION (யோகத் திருக்கோவில் - YOGA MANDIR)
Consciousness brings us together. The Siddha way of life, which is the essence of
the teachings of யோகத் திருக்கோவில் - Yoga Mandir (SCRF), guides one toward
unification with God consciousness.God consciousness (Siddha Manosakthi)— (சித்த -
Pure Consciousness) and (மனோசக்தி - Power of the Mind)—is achieved through spiritual
techniques practiced and experienced by our beloved guide, MahasiddhaMu.Ma.Se.SCRF
aims to explore breathing as both a healing technique and a means to better
living—enhancing longevity and maintaining inner balance for a worry-free life. It
integrates the wisdom of Vaatha, Vaithya, Yoga, and Gnana principles in its
teachings.
At Biotechnological Programs, we strive to blend cutting-edge advancements with
traditional wisdom to enhance and prolong life. We integrate traditional wisdom with
structured breathing practices through simple exercises to achieve this goal.
This process engages protein nanoparticles in the body, aligning them with parallel
nanoparticles in the universe, which induces a state of cellular harmony known as
Kundalini (குண்டலினி). The term "Kundalini" is derived from the activation of the
cell nucleus, stimulating the body's biological programs to regulate hormonal
release, ultimately supporting longevity and the pursuit of eternity.

These structured breathing techniques are based on the integration of the body, mind, and spirit. The underlying theory of unifying the body with the cosmos is seamlessly integrated into our entire program. The primary goal is to synchronize the body and mind with the universe using a structured technique called VaadhaViddhai (வாத வித்தை) in Tamil. Vaadha refers to the second respiration, which is associated with haemoglobin levels, pulse rate, blood circulation, and its interaction with body tissues and organelles.Through this structured breathing technique, one can achieve a long, disease-free, and worry-free life, ultimately paving the way for enlightenment.
Why SCRF?
Life is filled with responsibilities, and structured breathing techniques, known as
“Oodhumurai”, help maintain physical discipline, enhance meditative experiences, and
achieve universal oneness. At SCRF, we integrate traditional Siddha principles with structured breathing practices to promote holistic well-being. Our approach includes:
- Breathing:Understanding the mechanics of natural ventilation, functioning as a second respiration by adopting the Table of Vaara Saram (வார சரம் in Tamil). Vaara refers to dates, while Saram signifies the first breath upon awakening from deep sleep, marking the transition into consciousness.
- Kalpa Medicine: Developing healing remedies and longevity-enhancing formulations by harnessing the therapeutic properties of Palpam, such as Moppu, Sunnam, and Sendhuram, as part of Kaaya Kalpam. Kaaya Kalpa refers to medicinal practices that preserve the body and prevent its deterioration, promoting long-lasting health and vitality.
- Yoga: The unification of Siddha, the mind's property, and Athma, the elemental essence of the body's constitution, aligning together, known as Siddhathma Yoga—a divine and unique knowledge. This practice unites the body, mind, and breath to achieve overall well-being in human societal life. In this state, men and women are considered equal across all religions, living together in harmony and leading the integrity of the nation wherever they reside. Ultimately, the balance between human values and natural values is maintained, embodying what is known as universal spiritualism.
- Gnanam: Imparting eternal knowledge for a deeper understanding of life. Life is meant to be lived eternally, with the ultimate goal of achieving deathlessness. This involves transforming the body into alchemy and transmuting it into a form of light, sound, or any other desired form, with the focus on Ghana Oli Udambu (ஞான ஓளி உடம்பு in Tamil), which means the body as the light of wisdom. The aim is to merge with Jothi, the divine light.
At SCRF, our mission is to harmonize traditional wisdom with structured breathing techniques, fostering a healthier, more balanced, and fulfilling life.
